About
Your guide
Xavier has spent the better part of a decade moving between the world's most interesting hotels — not as a tourist, but as someone who notices things. The way afternoon light falls in a particular room. Whether the staff remember your name by the second morning. What a breakfast says about everything else.
Each dispatch is drawn from his own travels. The recommendations are his — and his alone.
The advisory
Behind every booking is a team of accredited travel advisors. That accreditation means access to preferred rates at hotels worldwide — rates that aren't available to the public, or on any booking site. On a week-long stay at a luxury property, the difference is meaningful.
At a select group of luxury hotels, we're also able to add a set of perks on top. These aren't negotiable extras — they're guaranteed at check-in, as part of our advisor relationship with the property.
We make our margin from the hotel, not from you. No booking fees. No service charges. Ever.
What's included
At Four Seasons, Rosewood, Park Hyatt, Luxury Collection, Relais & Châteaux, Leading Hotels of the World, and others, the following are included — guaranteed, not requested.
Complimentary room upgrade
At check-in, if a better room is available, it's yours — at no extra cost.
On-property credit
Approximately $100 USD to spend however you like — dining, spa, room service.
Daily breakfast for two
Start every morning without the bill. Full breakfast for two, included.
Flexible arrival & departure
Early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability — so the day is yours.
Illustrative rates
Rates are illustrative and vary by season and room type — but the gap between public and our rate is consistent.
